I read somewhere that it might be because in the U.K. there's something else known as a C.B.O. which stands for Criminal Behaviour Order.
Apparently it's used to ban convicted "anti-social types" from going certain places, taking part in certain activities and requiring these people "to address their behaviour."
I gotta say, as alluring as many aspects of the U.K. are, it's probably for the best that I don't live there. I'd hardly go as far as to call myself a professional asshole on the Internet, but I don't see it being terribly difficult to build a case that would convict me as an "anti-social type" to a certain degree.
What's that? When they say "convicted" you think they're referring to other crimes, not exclusively being anti-social? Well, fuck you! Who asked you anyway! God bless America! I'm going to go punch a guy in the face and run off before he can sue me! U! S! A!
