The science or magick which rules over the operation of automatic doors are apparently a mystery that no one is even bothering to uncover. Yeah, we all know that it's either an infrared sensor thingy, or a pressure sensitive do-hickey; and we all assume that if we really wanted to know more, that information would be readily available. Well it turns out, we were wrong.
That's right, "automatic sliding doors" don't even have their own wikipedia page, it's a just a short paragraph on the page for "doors". I went to the website of the lead, international supplier of these enigmatic entrances, and they don't tell you anything either! Not how it works, not when they were invented, who invented them, nothing!
I fucking know how the pyramids were made, and I know how to find more info on that than I would ever care to read, but automatic sliding doors? I don't think "aliens made them" is that farfetched when every other explanation has been carefully sequestered out of reach. And will their next development in that field take wireless or bluetooth signals into account? I have no idea, that's all I'm saying.
