I very much like the interior design esthetic of "creepy sparse". I'm sure there's a fancy Latin word for the style I'm referring to, but I think you all get what I mean.
The only problem I run into with that is when I'm designing a room with someone else, since the only way my taste can shine through their gaudy clutter is when I say "no" to everything they want to do. That, or you don't notice my input at all.
"Yeah, I did that wall there. What? There's nothing on it? Exactly."
